Position Description
Perform a variety of production assembly operations and adjustment on electronic assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, circuitry boards, panels, and cables or harnesses. Work is performed applying GMP standards and guidelines.
Position Responsibilities
Prepare, process, clean, install, assemble, rework, verify, , and/or inspect electrical and mechanical components, hardware, subassemblies, and assemblies on single or multiple product lines. Operate, and/or maintain shop equipment and tools where applicable. Adhere to environmental and safety procedures associated with production processes and procedures. Work from work instructions, drawings, method sheets, diagrams, workmanship standards or other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures monitor and record related documentation to meet quality requirements. Communicate individual inventory needs for work center. Follow production build rates, schedules and meet time standards. Interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as required. Collect, analyze, maintain and report data from production processes. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or GED. 2+ years of manufacturing experience Experience with multiple product lines or multiple workstations in complex products. Must be proficient in manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems in order to identify and implement improvements. Requires good written and verbal communication skills Basic reading and math skills Good manual dexterity, and eye/hand coordination. Basic computer skills. Ability to work and contribute in a team environment.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an FDA or similarly regulated environment
Physical Job Requirements
May require performing visually detailed close-up work. May involve exposure to chemicals, solvents and solder fumes. May be required to wear personal protective equipment. May require movement of objects (up to 35 pounds). Occasional overtime required.
