A Day in the Life

We offer you a position where you will participate in an active role in the preparation of the monthly financial reports and implementation of accounting policies. You will also assist the Finance Manager\ Controller in other controllership activites, such as cashflow forecast, fixed assets responisiblities, tax reports and other ad-hoc tasks/projects, as required. We believe that the finance team has a significant role in suppoting the organization and as such you may require from time to time to allocate time to assist in other tasks within the finance department.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Apply Medtronic’s accounting policies to analyze financial information and prepare records of internal and external financial reports.
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Cash Flow statements, and responsible for completeness of month-end close activites and documentation for internal controls and other requirements.
  • Prevent inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal controls and adopting proper policies for financial reporting, while monitoring employee compliance;
  • Financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.
  • Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • May oversee technical accounting research for complex business transactions and implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Prepare cashflow reports, monitor cash balances levels and in charge on interest receivable entries.
  • Prepare and deliver training to accounting staff on accounting methods and software use.
  • Assists in the preparation of reports for tax and regulatory authorities.
  • Active member of the finance team, support ad hoc projects, as required

Works independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects /  assignments.

May have some involvement in cross functional assignments.

Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.

Must Have
  • Big 4 internship and at least 3 years of experience
  • Bachelor Accounting degree (CPA Israel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in Hebrew and English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team player
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Nice to Have
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Medical device\ Hi-tech experience - advantage
  • Experience with ERP systems (Priority, SAP) - advantage
