OUR PURPOSE

At our HR Shared Services Department in Medtronic, plc, we focus on administrative, project, operational and data support for AskHR and Centres of Expertise (“CoE’s”) in the execution of HR processes to ensure consistency, effectiveness and efficiency promoting use and adoption of our HR technology platforms.

 

 

OUR OFFER

You will be responsible for the execution, administration and reporting of Talent acquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefit, Talent & Leadership Development, HR business operations in the following areas:

 

·        Managing the entire operations life cycle of recruitment costing & payments (PO & Expense Management)

·        Managing the Pre-employment/ background screening checks

·        Managing Talent Acquisition related operations for Cross Border Transfer hires

·        Assisting in-country TA CoE for requisition management & TA co-ordination for Dir+  roles and roles for out-scoped from RPO including contingency roles

·        Assisting the Talent Acquisition CoE on Early Career hiring/Campus program Project and job fair execution.

·        Coordinate pre-employment activities starting at offer acceptance through day 1 for Dir+ roles and roles for out-scoped from RPO including contingency roles

·        Coordinate new hire/off-boarding administrative activities

·        Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions

·        Deal with employee requests or handle inquiries regarding human resources issue, rules, and regulations

·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records

·        Partnering with AskHR team to provide improved customer experience

·        Assisting in-country TR CoE for Flexi Benefit administrative support, holiday work, retirement pension support work

·        Flexi Benefit Vendor payment

·        Assist leave of absence administration work

·        Create, record and store employee files or contracts

·        Assisting with offer letter creation, amendment, job change/promotion letters

·        Early departures checks – those departing within 12 months

 

 

You will ensure processes and procedures are clearly documented, kept up to date and used in day to day work. You will develop and maintain appropriate audit procedures and schedules.  

 

You will contribute to continuous improvement working closely with the with the Regional & country CoE leaders, HR Shared Services (AskHR) and Business Operations to achieve solutions/improvements for all processes/tasks performed in Human Resources.

 

You will be responsible for performing verification of required documentation, identifying, navigating, researching and troubleshooting processes related to multiple HR based applications and associated systems. You will retain ownership of assigned cases which are escalated to you until closure with end user.  

 

You will interact with internal and external business partners on matters requiring coordination and collaboration between departments related vendors/agencies. 

 

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a qualified person with degree in Human Resources or equivalent and desirably with 3-4 years relevant experience. You must be a dynamic team player with an interest to further develop within an international HR environment. You must be able to work effectively and proactively across teams.

 

You will demonstrate critical thinking, ability to collaborate and create alignment, generate ideas and set high standards focusing on the customer whilst fostering diversity & inclusion in everything that you do. You are a strong problem solver with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities. You like to work in a fast based environment using your own initiative. You have strong attention to detail and have a technical aptitude possessing strong computer skills such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
