In this exciting role as Associate Tech Services Specialist you will have responsibility to provide consultation to Medtronic field personnel, Hospital Biomedical Engineers, Physicians, Health Care professionals, Marketing, Development, Quality, and others on the installation, adoption, and on-going technical support of their Paceart System and the Medtronic Programmers.

The Cardiac and Vascular Group brings all of our cardiac and vascular businesses together into one cross-functional, collaborative operating unit to employ the full breadth of our talent, technologies, products, services, and solutions to address the needs of customers and patients across the globe. 

A Day in the Life 
  • Utilize ACD phone system, email, remote tools, and other technology to provide post-sales, pre-implementation and post-implementation technical consultation on the Paceart system and features that is accurate, thorough, timely, and tailored to customer needs.
  • Receive and document product events reported by customers and field representatives. Request additional information as needed for complete understanding of the event to determine if event is a product complaint.
  • Work on problems of moderate to complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Enter all information related to the events into the Technical Services Siebel complaint handling system
  • Participate in Paceart related product planning and marketing activities to ensure we are hearing and acting on the “voice of the customer.”
  • Develop networks across business units, other related business operations, and the field (DMs, DSMs, Reps, CSs, RSMs, and other cross-functional team members).
  • Goal oriented, task driven decision-making, and a strong sense of accountability. 
  • Play an active role within department teams by facilitating engagement with cross functional business partners to support the development and execution of strategies to improve call metrics.
  • Ensures that the company’s ethical position is maintained and effectively communicates and manages the company business conduct policies.
  • Provides in-house repair service in a repairing/service center or on-site technical service and support without sales & service quota.
  • Provides technical advice to customers, sales personnel, and healthcare professionals responding to product related questions, issues and problems.
  • Provides sales personnel with technical data necessary for the demonstration of products.
  • Acts as a liaison between sales personnel and customers on technical issues.
  • May make technical presentations at sales meetings and customer locations.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 0+ years experience in technical services/support.

Nice to Have
  • 2+ years experience in IT/Technical support
  • Experience with installation and functional features of the Paceart System
  • Experience working on the different Medtronic Programmers (2090, Encore, SmartSync)
  • Project leadership/management experience; Experience leading project teams and coordinating activities to achieve a common goal, and facilitation skills
  • Proficient use of MS SQL, Siebel, MS Windows 10/7/XP, MS Outlook, and WebEx
  • Experience in a regulated industry
  • Experience working in a team-based environment, being accountable on both individual and team-based assignments and works well under minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of HL7 interfaces and integration
  • Customer focused with emphasis on process and quality results orientation
