RTG (Restorative Therapies Group) OVERVIEW
The Restorative Therapies Group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.


SPINE shapes spine surgery for the better; delivering procedural solutions and therapeutic biologics and partnering with other healthcare stakeholders to accelerate innovations that can improve surgical efficiencies and help create better outcomes for more patients.


A Day in the Life

Medtronic’s Memphis, Tennessee location is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Planner to help implement long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth. Supports business execution of ongoing and new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, phase out, material constraints, last time buys / builds and network redesigns. Monitors key performance indicators and coordinates with cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. Works closely with external suppliers, internal plants, demand planners, regional planners and distribution centers to ensure product availability.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

•Accountable for product availability, back orders, inventory management and global distribution network
•Represents organization as a prime contact on products within assigned portfolio
•Support Sales and Operations Planning (SIOP) process for specific Contract Manufacturers/ Original Equipment Manufacturers (CM/OEM)
•Understands and updates spreadsheets with using Microsoft Excel formulas (vlookups, if conditions, etc.)
•Set up and maintain master data across multiple planning and execution systems; understanding connectivity between the systems
•Determine root cause of and correct source of erroneous data
•Communicates with cross functional groups, regional planners, demand planners and  management. 
•Ensure understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable.  Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work.
•Work is performed under general direction.  Participates in determining objectives of assignment.  
•This position requires some independent decision-making with minimal supervision.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 0 years of experience required

Nice to Have
•2 years of relevant experience
•Working knowledge of SAP and APO
•Experience working with MS Office suite
•Strong analytical skills
•Strong communication skills, both oral and written
•Good interpersonal skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude
•Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships
•Minimal Travel may be required
