MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide managerial oversight, leadership and coaching to the accounting staff.
Manage the accounting, statutory reporting, Income tax and VAT activities. Liaise with relevant Tax/VAT authorities on queries and audits.
Monitors implementation of financial policies, prepares regular and special-purpose reports, maintains historical records, analyzes trends, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget
Prepare monthly forecast for expenses as well as rolling forecast for future periods.
Liaise with HR on payroll processing and other related matters.
Lead and oversee the period end financial close
Oversee and review all Balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain key relationship with external tax consultants and auditors; ensure smooth and timely audits.
Prepare/oversee various management reports and cost center reporting.
Develop and maintain travel and expense policy.
Understand and enforce world-wide financial policies.
Must haves

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Accounting/Finance with 3 years in a controller’s role preferably in Multinational environment.
Experience in local tax system.
Fluency in oral and written English.


Nice to Haves
SAP & Hyperion knowledge
Experience in one of the big 4 audit firms.
