The Digital Strategist & Content Designer will be responsible for liaising  with the marketing teams within Cranial & Spine EMEA to design, assemble and optimize attractive digital content for targeted external stakeholders (customers and patients), whilst driving synergies with the EMEA Digital/Social Media Team to leverage the variety of digital channel touchpoints available (emailing, website, e-commerce, e-detailing, etc.)

At Medtronic, our Cranial & Spine Organization is growing to accommodate an exciting transformation in how we engage with Healthcare Institutions and the Clinicians and Healthcare Providers therein. We have a need to intensify the digital experience between Medtronic and health care professional and patients across the EMEA Region.

We are looking for an experienced marketeer with experience of web design/digital content creation to team within the Cranial & Spine Marketing group.

 

A Day in the Life

For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our business goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. As a Digital Strategist & Content Designer, you should also use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams. You will work with our EMEA Digital CoE team at regional and local level.

The myriad “Go to Market” channels available to explore offer an exciting opportunity to innovate how we engage with external stakeholders and professionals across the region. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various digital campaigns, including developing, deploying and measuring demand generation campaigns across the Medtronic Cranial & Spine businesses EMEA

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Localization of European and country digital content;
  • Design content layout suitable for digital platforms (website, emailing, e-detailing, PDF, eCommerce);
  • Act as a Marketing Automation Campaign expert and participate into cross group discussions with other experts;
  • Follow the enterprise digital standards, policies and governance, including tagging guidelines in order to allow effective measurement of traffic across the digital touchpoints;
  • You are prepared to travel a minimum of 25% to be able to effectively engage with the multiple stakeholders within the large C&S Marketing Team.

Do you have what it takes:

  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Digital Marketing or relevant field or equivalent experience is required;
  • Experience analyzing business needs and delivering effective digital campaign in a timely manner;
  • Experience in web content management, preferably in B2B and in global or international departments;
  • Fluency in English is a must;
  • UX and Visual Design desirable;
  • Digital Marketing Understanding (SEO, Social Media).

  • Project management experience;
