Must Have: Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience
Nice to Have
  • 7-10+ years combined experience in two or more of the following functions within the Healthcare industry (Med Device strongly preferred): Market Development, Strategic Marketing, Global Product or Upstream Marketing, Strategy & Portfolio Management, optional Medical Affairs, Health Economic, Policy, and Reimbursement.
  • Highly motivated to advance organizational expertise in market development
    • Process, methods, tools
    • Best practices
  • Very high critical thinking skills and synthesis skills (can create structure, form, systems)
  • Strong quantitative skills – can translate data, info, and ideas into useful analysis & insight
  • Cross functional influence, ability to lead with and without authority, possess the knowledge, skills, ability and credibility to system engineer a large and critical project with multiple stakeholders and matrixed participants
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and appropriate level of commitment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to understand and communicate technical information.
  • State of the Art, Expert Knowledge of modern market development practices, procedures and techniques with a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge to drive achievement of business goals.
  • Strong orchestration and high-level influencing skills to set strategic direction and drive business transformation towards One MITG.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, effective engagement skills across the organization (respecting the importance of the matrixed organization within Medtronic)
  • Proven abilty to achieve results through influence and leadership (especially running cross-functional teams/projects).
  • Strong prioritization skills, able to coordinate multiple large scale projects and handling changing priorities with ease.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel 30 % of time.
