Regional Business Process Owner – EMEA New Business Models (incl Service & Repair)

Careers that Change Lives

Medtronic’s global strategy is to transform across all business unit groups its commercial operating model and the customer experience. Why? To outperform the markets in which we operate, to make it easier for customers to do business with us, to make it easier for our employees to serve our customers, and to improve our cost-to-serve model across all our customers.

Strong business process ownership is a prerequisite to achieve these objectives. In the global and regional contracting & pricing function we are currently establishing a business process ownership model.

This new regional business owner role consists of two focus areas: The primary focus area (70%) is to successfully drive full adoption and a strong governance structure around the developed strategic capabilities (through the business model evolution program in the previous 4 years) and to own the associated request and reporting capabilities we have established this new position within EMEA. You will be in the driving seat of a large transformational journey in EMEA with positive impact to our customers, to our commercial teams and to the Area/BU and country marketing and pricing teams. In this position you report into the EMEA Offer to Cash Value Stream leader for Contracting & Pricing as well as to the global business owner for new business model innovations.

The secondary focus area (30% of time) is to establish expertise and specific processes around Service & Repair offering, from a contracting and pricing perspective. Across all BU’s. Next to the abovementioned direct reporting line you will work closely with the EMEA Value Stream leader for Service & Repair.

A Day in the Life

We offer you a position in which you will build up expertise and know-how around SAP strategic capabilities like commercial bundling and subscription services, recent and new Medtronic business models evolving around bundling and/or (packaged) service offerings, and their current and future requirements across BU and geography. With the aim to drive strong accountability and awareness

across the BU’s at the regional level, including the establishment of a governance and monitoring model across EMEA for the Area/BU marketing groups.

You will work closely with BU marketing, BU relationships managers, country and area contracting & pricing teams, IT, and the core business model innovation team (global scope). In addition, you will work with the regional EMEA Service & Repair team.

As the regional business process owner you will be participating in relevant business projects as the subject matter expert on new business models (incl. service & repair models), and you will establish and enforce process change governance rules, a contract data framework, including reporting around these business models at a consolidated EMEA and BU level.
