Regional Business Process Owner – EMEA Rebates Contract Management

To successfully drive best in class rebate contract offering through our commercial organization and to ensure seamless and compliant execution of our rebate contracts we have created this new position within EMEA. You will be in the driving seat of a large transformational journey in EMEA with positive impact to our customers, to our commercial teams and to the country operational finance and contracting teams. In this position you report into the EMEA Offer to Cash Value Stream leader for Contracting & Pricing as well as to the global rebates process owner.


A Day in the Life

We offer you a position in which you will build up expertise and know-how around rebates contracts, supporting capabilities & reporting requirements. You will drive best practices across the EMEA commercial organization, you will formulate current and future requirements across BU and countries in the area of rebate offering, with the aim to drive commercial optimization aligned with EMEA pricing and margin strategies. Also will you concentrate on process efficiency through harmonization and consolidation, and to drive improvement of customer experience in the entire process from opportunity to contract closure to contract execution.

You will work closely with all country contracting & pricing teams in the region, finance EMEA and finance in the countries, legal, IT, as well as the global rebates process owner, and you will be responsible to ensure alignment with all critical stakeholders regionally in EMEA and with corporate functions.

As the regional business process owner you will be participating in relevant business projects as the subject matter expert on rebates, and you will establish and enforce process change governance rules, a contract data framework, including reporting around rebates at a consolidated EMEA and BU level.

Must Haves

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience within commercial contracting and/or business finance specifically

Process and technology design experience, from a functional or I/T perspective

Social and cultural flexibility in working in a multinational and very dynamic environment with demanding objectives


Nice to Haves

Project management skills in a multinational matrix business environment

Work experience and business insights in the medical devices industry
