RTG (Restorative Therapies Group) OVERVIEW
The Restorative Therapies Group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.

SPINE shapes spine surgery for the better; delivering procedural solutions and therapeutic biologics and partnering with other healthcare stakeholders to accelerate innovations that can improve surgical efficiencies and help create better outcomes for more patients.

A Day in the Life
•Review daily portion of the assigned geographical area’s surgery schedule for immediate emergency needs.  Work to create and implement a plan to satisfy those needs through Medtronic and 3PL partner channels.  Continue working the surgery schedule to ensure all needed inventory is planned to be in the right place at the right time, working with Field Sales, Sales Ops, MDT distribution, and 3PL partners to achieve correct and timely inventory placement. 
•Will review Sets not returned to facilitate timely circulation or regionally shared sets to the FSL.  Communication with Field Sales, Sales Ops, and 3PL partners will be used here.
•Will work with other ALAs to facilitate national sharing if the need occurs.  Creates and implements plan for sets to be shared outside and circulated back to the home region.
•Provides tactical feedback to SLA and FIM regarding demand trends, set needs, and known changes in business. 
•Manages loaner reconciliation for assigned geographical area.

•Controls the flow of RTG Spine surgery sets, logistics services, and information between point of shipment through receipt at the account, in order to meet daily surgery schedule demand
•Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes in regards to demand management and related functions.
•Ensures that service levels and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet objectives.
•Builds relationships with sales ops and field sales in order to form a partnership in inventory management
•Fields and solves emergency inventory needs. (add on cases/emergency surgeries)
•Integrates market intelligence from 3PL partners and customers to continuously improve competitive position.
•Covers after hours and holiday inventory needs based on planned rotation
•Deals directly with field sales
•Strong communication skills are a must

Delivers and/or manages daily tasks assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing daily tasks to fruition - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Organizational Impact: Delivers work of limited scope, typically smaller, less complex projects or related activities. Innovation and Complexity: Identifies, defines and addresses problems that are not immediately evident but typically not difficult or complex. Makes minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems .
Communication and Influence: Communicates with internal and external contacts.  Contacts others to gather, confirm and convey information.
Organizational Impact: Performs activities requiring considerable judgment and may have ownership of minor projects in manufacturing/production operations or distribution center. Work may include non-routine activities related to new lines of work or special assignments.
Innovation and Complexity: Problems faced are general, and may require some analysis to understand and resolve. Expected to independently propose solutions to problems for supervisor review . May be responsible for recommending making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of own job area .
Communication and Influence: Communicates typically with internal and external contacts, as needed. Obtains and provides information on matters of moderate importance to the job area.
Leadership and Talent Management: Responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
