This position will report to the Sr Manager FP&A and be an integral member of the Cardiac and Vascular Group (CVG) FP&A staff.  This position will assist in the system, planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, including, but not limited to: Hyperion systems management for CVG, capital system management and reporting, revenue reporting, AOP/FCST/SP modeling, dashboard maintenance, and CVG special projects / optimization. This position will also support, advise, and influence business partners by building relationships at all levels within the finance organization.

  • Assist in financial system support in a Hyperion environment.
  • Participate in capital system management and capital reporting.
  • Revenue reporting (daily and weekly as required) throughout the quarter.
  • Oversee dashboard design, maintenance, and data sourcing.
  • Special projects (including but not limited to R&D optimization and other process improvements)
  • Manage calendar activities:  scheduling recurring reviews with BU’s and regions and communicating various process overviews and deliverable dates.
  • Assist in managing financial models for calculation of targets and forecasts.
  • Assist in creation/maintenance of financial models for ROIC / FCF / Intrinsic Value.
  • Own ad-hoc financial analyses and modeling as required in a clear, accurate and timely manner.
  • Work on projects and financial presentations for management as required.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have

  • CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance or a Master’s degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel and PowerPoint              
  • Experience with finance applications such as Essbase or Hyperion Financial Management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional performer with high degree of initiative and self-motivation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate within a complex organization (matrix) and various levels of management
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously while appropriately prioritizing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage to tight deadlines, along with flexibility to changing priorities
  • Experience with business partnering
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
