This position is a remote-based position on interim basis due to Covid19 Pandemic. Upon approval of ‘Return to Office” site guidelines, this role will require the individual to work onsite.

Located in Boulder, CO, Mansfield, MA, Minneapolis, MN, or North Haven, CT, and reporting to the Director, FP&A for GS&MA Global Operations, you will work closely with Operations Leadership Team members providing support on financial projects and analyses, monthly closing, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgeting processes.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Be a business finance partner for various Operations Functional leaders to accurately convey timelines, expectations, and analytics on budgetary variances and trends.
  • Lead processes and initiatives to ensure all departmental budgets are meeting financial timelines and reporting requirements
  • Partner with peer analysts to drive analytic advancements, and reporting standardization across GS&MA
  • Consolidate Divisional HQ financial information as needed: monthly and quarterly results, risks & opportunities, forecasts, and annual budgets
  • Assist in preparing the monthly reporting and commentary for Divisional, and assist in preparation of leadership presentations
  • Responsible for accurate and timely month-end financial reporting and presentation to both financial and non-financial leaders
  • Support CER creation, detailed project proformas and project tracking
  • Support review and analytics of CAPEX, and manufacturing variance capitalization
  • Manage the loading of financial data into various systems and ensure data integrity as required
  • Prepares special projects and analyses as needed
  • Analyze and reconcile key balance sheet accounts and book journal entries as needed
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 0+ years)
Nice to Have
  • Experience in Finance or Accounting, including exposure to budgeting and forecasting
  • Software: Advanced Excel, Access, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint required
  • Ability to program and analyze financial queries quickly
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Strong teamwork skills and effective with all levels of management
  • A high level of integrity and accountability
  • Action oriented, and the desire to improve processes and drive change
  • Strong business acumen
  • Change agility in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Finance or Accounting, including CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent
  • Experience in Manufacturing Accounting or FP&A
  • Proficiency in SAP, BPCS, JBA, Hyperion Planning, Essbase and Power BI preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, and aptitude for influencing at all levels
  • Demonstrates high standards of integrity and data accuracy
  • Works well with and is comfortable around higher management
  • Proven adaptability and responsiveness to multiple changing business priorities
  • Works independently without direct supervision
  • Experience using SAP ERP system
