Finance Director, RTG Americas Sales

This position has the responsibility and authority to manage a team of analysts and drive financial planning and analysis for the U.S. RTG Americas Sales organization by working closely with RTG group FP&A, Americas Region FP&A, Senior Sales Leadership, BU FP&A.   This position will report to the VP of RTG Sales Finance.

This role is responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis for RTG Americas Region for Sales, DDM and ID Expense.  Duties include financial reporting, analysis and forecasting, monitoring trends, risk and opportunities.  against budget, variance analysis, and preparing the story for leadership regarding financial performance.

• Deliver Monthly and Quarterly , Monthly Financial Report’s for both RTG Group  and Americas Region
• Deliver Monthly Forecasting, Latest Best Estimate’s, Risk & Opportunities
• Lead the AOP, 3 Q and 6 Q and Strat Plan processes for RTG Sales Function
• Lead and coordinate financial reporting needed for QBR for Sales, BU’s and Americas 
• Lead Financial Reporting consolidation with RTG LATAM & Canada
• Own top’s down trend-based revenue forecasts and coordinate with field finance to incorporate field forecasts and insights. 
• Deliver monthly financial package for BU Finance highlighting both macro and regional drivers of revenue and expense performance, facilitate collaborate on risk, opportunities and targets. 
• Lead overall Close Calendar process and deliverables for Sales Finance team. Develop standard templates and serve as coordinator with RTG and Americas requirements.
• Prepare and lead monthly Business Review for Sales Leadership and Sales Operations addressing financial performance, provides insights and recommendations, risk and opportunities.  to management.
• Provide financial support for Strategic Sales & Enabling Technology and Specialty Sales teams  
• FP&A duties for Indirect Distribution, collaborating with other matrix areas as needed as well as Sales Finance owned Indirect Expense Cost Centers managed by BU.
• Actively participate in FP&A Optimization initiatives to achieve process improvements and efficiencies.
• Maintain accuracy of WWR Revenue for Quarterly Sales reporting
• Provide Order 2 Cash subject matter liaison for Americas Shared Service Working Capital and Shared Service initiatives. 

Manages team of four analysts and dotted line supervision for functional teams in LATAM and Canada.  Provide motivational leadership, inspiring thought and technical leadership.


Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience

Nice to Have
  • 10+ years of related experience; demonstrated leadership experience in managing financial analysts and with remote supervision.
  • Proven experience in executing within a matrix environment  
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence; ability to learn/understand the business and influence key stakeholders at various management levels to drive and increase value to the organization.
  • Can communicate well with Senior Sales Leaders, Business Partners and Functional Leaders, present financial analysis in clear concise story and influence when needed. 
  • Ability to develop forward looking financial models, construct potential scenarios and/or range of options that provide insight for senior leaders and business partners to consider. 
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently utilize systems/data to provide insightful analysis and implement recommendations.
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation. Ability to work independently, possess critical, excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle ambiguity in an unstructured environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; ability and willingness to effectively present to various levels of management.
  • Strong work ethic; proven track record for delivering on commitments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Experience in a fast paced high-technology environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Experience managing a team of financial analysts through change and financial transformation in a fast paced environment with varying degrees of complexity, multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Proven experience leading financial planning and reporting functions and developing financial analytics that deliver solid business performance. 
  • Experience managing projects that require high matrix collaboration, building relationships and influence.  
  • Systems experience with SAP, Hyperion Enterprise, Workday, Business Objects, and modeling software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint
