The Global BCS Compliance Program Manager will facilitate the development of our global compliance program overseeing how Medtronic works with healthcare providers and healthcare organizations in a compliant way.  They will develop and implement global policies, procedures, training, and process/system controls supporting the Global Business Conduct Standards.  They will lead a global cross-functional team that will drive compliance with these requirements across the company.

This position has potential for being a remote position.

A Day in the Life

 

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Proactively monitor compliance landscape to identify new potential issues that may impact aspects of the Global BCS Compliance Program, including benchmarking without companies to determine “best-in-class” processes and incorporate practices as needed.

  • Serve as project team lead for the Global BCS Compliance Program. The cross-functional team is responsible for the development of program standards, implementation and ongoing management the compliance program oversight for how Medtronic interacts with healthcare providers and healthcare organizations.

  • Project manage the various initiatives impacting Global BCS Compliance Program through defining project objectives, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Develops and implements global compliance policies, procedures, and practices related to how Medtronic works with healthcare providers and healthcare organizations.

  • Identify, plan, develop and implement new controls, techniques, or standards that support the strategic objectives of Medtronic and the Office of Ethics & Compliance.

  • Develops employee communication and training that focus on the elements of a company wide compliance program focused on anti-corruption/anti-kickback risks with healthcare providers and healthcare organizations.

  • Establishes meaningful metrics and scorecards to report on the Global BCS Compliance Program initiatives and risk profile.

  • Coordinates and communicates amongst compliance, technology, and business teams as appropriate to ensure the successful completion of projects and tasks.

 


Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience within compliance or legal with a bachelor’s degree; or, 3+ years of experience with an advanced degree
Nice to Have
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment and business risks for a Life Sciences Company
  • Experience with global compliance programs, such as global trade, anti-bribery, conflict of interest or other similar programs
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in program management
