A Day in the Life

The Global Digital Marketing Specialist provides effective digital marketing management of the product/brands/clinical campaigns within the Patient Monitoring (PM) portfolio to achieve business objectives of top line sales and conversion from tactical to strategic thinking. The Global Marketing Digital Marketing Specialist will work in conjunction with the Global Patient Monitoring Marketing and Regional Marketing teams to develop, implement and monitor a commercial marketing plan for our market development initiatives and product portfolio, specifically focusing on digital avenues, lead generation, in addition to developing a portfolio strategy. Best practices from regional campaigns will be leveraged for continual global improvement of digital marketing programs tracking ROI and effectiveness metrics to ensure optimal resource allocation.


The Global Digital Marketing Specialist must be detail-oriented and self-motivated, with excellent analytic, problem-solving skills, and good communication skills (both oral and written), with an expertise in digital content development and deployment.  The Digital Marketer will report into the Global Marketing team, Patient Monitoring, and will deliver key recommendations and support the strategic direction of the business.


The Global Digital Marketing Specialist will also manage the collateral approval process and maintenance of the claims matrices across the portfolio.

Ability to think strategically and participate actively in decision analysis using internal and external data, problem formulation, meeting facilitation, data collection, available digital platforms, and presentations to senior management.



  • Development of key commercial digital market strategies, including brand campaigns, clinical support, competitive strategies, launch strategies, and content creation to support regional campaigns.
  • Use audience insights, personas, keyword research, messaging themes, campaign plans, competitive information and content performance analytics to develop content
  • Create a steady stream of primary and derivative asset types that can be leveraged across various channels and use cases
  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional participants (e.g. product marketing, marketing operations, IT, agencies, freelancers) as needed to support content ideation, creation, activation and measurement requirements
  • Collect, analyze and report on content marketing success via standard content marketing–related KPIs, using Web analytics tools, marketing automation platforms, social media management tools, content marketing software and business intelligence platforms to inform and optimize ongoing content marketing efforts
  • Development of a clinical oriented portfolio approach to digital strategy 
  • Supports Global website content and alignment to messaging/key clinical focuses/campaigns
  • Works with cross-functional teams, with input from Global & Regional marketing partners to develop, communicate and execute PM marketing plan, including any digital support for product launches.
  • Ensures alignment of campaigns to proper segmentation of target audience and unique value proposition is identified and resonates with customer segment.
  • Responsible for timely and frequent communications to the Regional Marketing teams on best practices, implementation strategies and tactics to increase market penetration.
  • Creates relevant sales assets as needed, collaborates with digital marketing team on strategy and execution, including demand generation campaigns and website development, digital asset development.
  • Works in conjunction with entire Patient Monitoring Global Marketing team to align strategy with evolving healthcare dynamics in the global marketplace.
  • Global customer focus & market understanding are keys to success.


  • With market research, competitive intelligence, keep abreast of key market drivers, digital trends and changes in the competitive & commercial landscape.
  • Builds a global digital marketing plan that expands and develops the market through utilization of clinical evidence, economic value and market awareness.
  • Maintain ‘contact’ with global customers and regional marketing partners to stay abreast of changing customer needs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           
  • Collaborates with Global Marketing & Medical Affairs to develop and commercialize clinical/economic evidence. 


  • Works within organization to develop product launch campaigns/digital/website for new launches, including within OEM partner integration & product introductions.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience

Nice to Have                                                                                

  • Deep understanding of power of digital marketing
  • Thorough understanding of digital executional aspects of marketing- Advertising and promotion program management, digital /social media channels, website content, product positioning
  • Five+ years of related experience (e.g. publishing, editorial, journalism, content marketing, copywriting, digital marketing)
  • Ability to understand, digest and articulate complex concepts for mass consumption via engaging content
  • Excellent research and interviewing skills
  • Strong writing and editing skills; excellent communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple projects successfully and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and consensus-building skills – ability to work with cross-functional teams including upstream content contributors and downstream content activators
  • Experience in a high performance consulting or strategic planning environment demanding a sophisticated approach to understanding financial/market models, competitive trends and business impact.
  • Strategic agility and structured thinking, intellectual curiosity is a must.  Ability to turn detailed data analyses into succinct, useful strategic insight.
  • Ability to achieve results by working cross-functionally and collaboratively across a matrix organization, including scoping and managing projects with cross-business unit teams.
  • Self-starter, comfortable taking initiative
  • Experience within the Medical Device industry
