Help expand patient access to innovative, life-saving therapies.  We are hiring a Global Education Manager who will be responsible for partnering with health care practitioners and internal partners from clinical, regulatory, marketing, and research and development functions to develop product training and best practices for our transcatheter mitral valve replacement therapy. Materials and curricula developed will be used to train health care practitioners and internal personnel world-wide to promote positive clinical outcomes for patients diagnosed with severe, symptomatic mitral valve regurgitation.

A Day in the Life 

As Global Education Manger, you will design, develop, and maintain educational programs supporting our transcatheter mitral valve replacement global curriculum. In this role, you will:

•Collaborate with internal R&D, marketing, and clinical teams as well as physician subject matter experts to define training needs and requirements.
•Design detailed training plans defining instructional objectives, learning activities, and evaluation strategies customized to the specific needs of a given audience.
•Collaborate closely with clinical investigators to define and maintain procedural best practices that promote positive clinical outcomes. 
•Develop impactful didactic training materials and resources to support product and procedure training needs.
•Work with internal creative group and external vendors to develop electronic assets such as animations, videos, and self-paced elearning modules.
•Define procedural simulation needs and work with internal and external resources to develop and implement procedural simulation tools.
•Lead material review process to ensure training materials are consistent with approved product labelling.
•Closely monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and lead continuous improvement efforts to ensure training programs achieve instructional objectives and support business goals.
•Participate on cross-functional core teams to support new product development and clinical indication expansion efforts, including the development of training materials to support clinical trials and commercial launches.
•Participate on product quality investigations and support corrective action plans as necessary.
•Serve as an internal subject matter expert and consultant on adult learning theory, instructional effectiveness, and human performance assessment and improvement.
•Develop awareness of HVT product portfolio and stay informed of industry trends, competitive products, and clinical trial results.
•Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Must Have: Minimum Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree
•7+ years of experience in a training, medical education role (5 years with Advanced Degree)
•Instructional design experience
•Health care practitioner education program design and development experience
•Experience with adult learning theory to program design and instructional materials 

Nice to Have:

•Master’s degree
•Medtronic experience 
•Structural heart therapy knowledge helpful
