The Peripheral business is one of the fastest-growing businesses at Medtronic. We are hiring for a dynamic, competitive and inspiring marketer for our Global Downstream Marketing Team to support our AV Access and Maintenance Portfolio, with an emphasis on endovascular arterio-venous fistula creation (endoAVF) and high-pressure percutaneous angioplasty balloons (PTA).

As the Global Product Manager, you will be an important member of our fast-paced, high-visibility team. You will be empowered to use your creativity to lead the strategic direction and execution in supporting the endoAVF product portfolio and managing the high-pressure balloon franchise. This position is responsible for developing and executing marketing programs to accelerate global growth and drive both market and mind share.
In this role, you will interact with a variety of product lines that all have a material impact on how patients get treated. You will also have the opportunity to work across our entire AV product portfolio and help drive revenue and win in the AV Access and Maintenance Market!

A Day in the Life:

Product Launches and Lifecycle Management
•Use your product portfolio management skills to develop marketing plans, develop messaging/positioning, and develop and execute launch plans.
•Assist in business analytics/create business dashboards and other metrics required to support team operations and plan development. 
•Develop and leverage a strong understanding of the global AV market to conceive, design, and execute analyses to accelerate decision-making.
•Act as internal therapy expert on the eAVF accessory portfolio, high-pressure balloon and broad AV market.  Leverage knowledge base to support customer meetings, cross-functional decision making and broad-based AV business strategy.
•Influence business decisions by providing data analytics, including reports on account targeting opportunities, competition, market share, and promotional ROI.
•Collaborate with supply chain partners to manage supply chain forecasting.
•Act as the key commercial liaison between the business unit and regional marketing teams globally.
•Monitor sales trends and make recommendations for deeper penetration by partnering with global business leaders.

Competitive Intelligence
•Act as an in-house expert for eAVF accessory products and high-pressure balloons in AV and peripheral markets.
•Take the lead in compiling and providing regular competitive updates to marketing / senior management.
•Develop and distribute competitive updates and messaging to sales team.

Regional Marketing and Field Communications Strategy
•Enhance salesforce engagement by developing an overarching field connectivity plan.
•Perform assessments, develop recommendations, and rollout plan.

Multi-Channel Campaigns
•Execute quarterly marketing campaigns on topics that drive market share in partnership with Sr. Product Managers and Sales Leadership.  Successful execution will integrate campaign tactics across multiple channels- sales, digital media, medical conferences, PR, advertising- and track metrics and optimize performance to drive program ROI.

You will interact regularly with cross-functional partners (i.e. – Sales, Finance, R&D & Supply Chain). 
•Ability to travel up to 30% of the time (after COVID)

Must Have:

•Bachelor Degree
•4 years’ experience in Marketing or Sales role (2 years with Advanced Degree)
•Project management experience 

Nice to Have:  

•MBA
•Marketing experience in the medical device, pharma or healthcare 
•Enthusiasm and ability to drive alignment and rally teams to your vision
•Product Launch and Product Management experience
•Comfort working with, analyzing, and communicating clinical data 
•Analytical horsepower – ability to take disparate data points and weave clear conclusions/strategies 
•Strong influence management skills, cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels in the organization
•Strong ability in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
