Global Product Manager, Downstream – Congenital Heart Disease

We are hiring a Global Product Manager for Downstream Marketing for Congenital Heart Disease.  Come be part of one of the fastest growing business at Medtronic. You will be an important member of our fast-paced, high-visibility Structural Heart global marketing team within the Congenital Heart Disease franchise. Every day we work to restore health to patients with heart valve disease. We do this by working closely with customers, our global partners and internally to bring solutions to life. In this role, you will drive collaboration with regions and other functions to develop the marketing strategy and execute on the launch of key new products and innovations.  

A Day in the Life:

•Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and obtain market intelligence for pricing analysis and product positioning. 
Develop, implement, and execute marketing strategies to launch new products & technologies including messaging, physician engagement, effective pricing & sales engagement.
•Consult with country and/or regional marketing and sales teams to introduce new product features, techniques, indications and capabilities. 
•Coordinate sales and related activities such as advertising, public relations, social media and strategies to achieve marketing objectives. 
•Develop and execute strategic launch plans and set 3-5 year growth targets  
•Foster positive relationships with key opinion leaders, industry luminaries, and other partners to support therapy acceptance, therapy expansion, and safe and effective use of Medtronic CHD products. 

•Travel up to 25% both domestically & internationally. 

Must Have:

•Bachelor’s Degree 
•4+ years in a marketing, sales or technical role (2 years with Advanced Degree)
•Program or project management experience

Nice to Have:

•Strong global commercial marketing experience; preferably with both upstream and downstream in the medical device or healthcare industry
•Exposure to global healthcare markets and the global economy
•Experience developing and successfully executing marketing plans
•Strong financial and business acumen
•Experience developing financial business cases and/or market models 
•Strong written & verbal communication skills 
•Ability to quickly develop relationships and rapport with individuals at all levels and from all cultures 
•Independence, energy & positive attitude 
•Ability to adapt and change within dynamic corporate and business environment
