The Head of Pelvic Health and Gastric Therapies Germany (m/f/d) will be instrumental in establishing Pelvic Health Therapies business in Germany as a significant growth contributor on both a regional and global scale and will be responsible for the single largest revenue generating country in the EMEA region. This is a critical role in shaping organizational structure, value proposition and customer engagement while ensuring effective and appropriate P&L management. Being a strong leader and having developed a clear and robust business strategy the Head of Pelvic Health and Gastric Therapies Germany (m/f/d) will focus on driving execution and ensuring alignment throughout their organization, demonstrating a high level of business acumen and being an expert in mobilizing commitment within a large team.

To achieve the business goals, he/she will establish and maintain close working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong collaboration and avoid duplication of activity. He/she will work with transparency across the matrix and demonstrate influence and transparency.
In this role the Head of Pelvic Health and Gastric Therapies Germany (m/f/d) will have a solid line management of one Therapy Sales Specialist Manager, several Therapy Sales Development Specialists and a strong collaboration with the marketing organization - being an active member of the Pelvic Health EMEA and Germany RTG leadership teams. This role reports in direct line to Regional Business Director Pelvic Health EMEA and in dotted line to Sr. Business Director RTG Germany.

This role requires travelling amount of >50%, the Head of Pelvic Health and Gastric Therapies Germany (m/f/d) works from home office and is ideally located near an international airport.

A Day in the Life

Accountable for delivering revenue, EBIT and market share growth expectations for the Pelvic Health and Gastric Therapies Germany business within a direct and a matrix environment
Work with HQ business unit and be the point of contact for the Pelvic Health and Gastric Therapies business while providing credibility and accuracy related to forecast, inventory control, phase in/out plans, customer & regional needs etc.
Establish, drive and execute business strategies and plans that build profitability and drive market development and penetration across the therapy area
Analyze market size, competitive market landscape and other information from all sources with a clear focus on how we can improve sales and secure/increase market share
Identify business growth opportunities and unmet customer requirements and provide focus to move ideas to market
Lead, inspire, coach and develop the Pelvic Health and Gastric Therapies team and wider organization within Germany
Drive talent acquisition & development through the organisation. Identify and grow human talent while building a strong, performance driven team to enhance the company’s reputation in the market. Through this team facilitate the culture of execution required to establish sustainable growth.
Interface and align with marketing, financial, commercial excellence and other support teams within Germany and SHQ
Establish and maintain a robust governance model and operating mechanism to promote a winning mindset and drive strategy to execution

Must haves

BA/BSc degree, coupled with postgraduate degree preferable
Approx. 10 years of experience in sales and marketing roles of increasing responsibilities - with a strong track record of success, this in highly competitive markets
3-5 years of experience in business leadership with strong proven leadership skills and track record which clearly indicates effective leadership and motivation of other groups, preferably in a multi-cultural, pan-European environment
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in German and in English. Proven ability to effectively communicate at all levels in an organization and with diverse groups
Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales & marketing management as well as other functions
Results-driven and focused, with a strong ability to get plans executed
Proven track record to work independently, while achieving ambitious personal and organisational objectives
Highly motivated with “can do” attitude with strong influence management skills.
Proven track record of good judgment
Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers and subordinates
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make bold decisions without close supervision 
Experience of working with complexity and multiple competing priorities

Nice to haves

Knowing already the medical device 
Experience in having P&L responsibility 
Additional European language
