Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They partner with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations. 
Across EMEA, the COVID-19 pandemic has upended hospital activities. As hospitals gradually reopen their doors for elective procedures, they will likely face a backlog of patients, of which the size is often unknown, and the priorities are unclear. As hospitals begins transitioning to normal operations, IHS  have put together a portfolio of solutions to help them safely accelerate procedural restart while making the best use of  available capacity. 

As Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions Consultant, you will connect with clients, understand and analyze their most pressing business problems, develop and scale high value solutions and services and deliver services which improve their productivity, quality and competitiveness. You will focus on solutions and services in Surgical Theatre management, capacity management, including planning and scheduling and flow management.

Main job duties / responsibilities are: 
•    Develop and scale high value solutions and services will focus on Surgical Theatre management 
•    Execute end-to-end workstreams and projects, leading to quantified economic value and client impact
•    Partner with hospital stakeholders, influencing them by developing well-articulated situation analysis and business cases for change
•    Capture learning and best-practices and continuously enrich Medtronic consulting and solution toolbox
Key areas of expertise are:
•    Consulting expertise with strong data analytics
•    Healthcare expertise: Surgical Theatre/Cath lab management, planning & scheduling, capacity management
•    Project management skills
•    Relationship building / customer engagement skills and stakeholder management 
As part of the EMEA Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions Consultancy Community, consultants should be able to:
•    Work and lead in teams as well as independently, according to standardized practices industrialized by the team
•    Share and communicate determined best practices actively in the team

•    Relevant Master’s degree 
•    Capacity management experience
•    Process reengineering experience
•    Fluent in English 
•    Good level of Spanish and any other language are a plus

•    At least 5 years of relevant consulting experience
•    Experienced in planning & scheduling or capacity management in healthcare area would be highly valued

•    Strong analytical skills
•    Knowledge of hospital IT and data analytics
•    Strong and demonstrable project management skills: planning & coordinating, communicating & influencing, relationship building, achieving milestones, resolving issues and managing risks
•    Strong presentation and communication skills – oral and written (PowerPoint)
•    Excellent partnering and collaboration skills (team-player, navigating though complex environment with wide range of stakeholders at all levels)
•    Customer- and Business-focus and understanding

•    Willingness to travel across EMEA (25-50%)
