Seeking an energetic, passionate, and curious Communications Specialist who wants to grow his/her career in the communications fields. 
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of communications channels that reach a variety of audiences. Your combination of skills including organization, reliability, and attention to detail will help deliver consistent, quality, and creative communications that inspire audiences to engage. You will be trusted to work with minimal supervision, self-prioritize, communicate frequently, and show discretion in all activities. As a result, this role requires a high level of integrity, reliability, and accountability.

A Day in the Life
- Handles the creation and implementation of multiple forms of internal strategic communication activities, programs, and content guided by the Medtronic Mission and overall business strategy
- Leads strategies and produces content to help align the organization's goals in support of greater employee engagement and business impact
- Generates comprehensive strategic plans that influence communications channels to reach and engage employees with the objectives, policies, Mission, and growth strategies of the company
- Responsible for help with planning, writing, and editing to persuade, educate, and inspire internal audiences to change behavior or understand the work environment
- Responsible for creating electronic channels (including email newsletters), and managing distribution lists to reach audiences 
- Manages the collection and strategic analysis of data pulled for communications channels
Must Haves
- Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of related experience OR advanced Degree

Nice to Have
- HTML to edit and manipulate web content and format
- SharePoint or other content management systems to format and publish content
- Adobe Creative Suite to create or edit photos and graphics
- Google Analytics or other data analytics programs to pull and create meaningful data insights
- User experience intelligence to influence social media strategies
