Being part of the Medtronic Finance team means being a specialist and true partner to our business stakeholders on various financial processes. You will join of a team that offers added value service to more than 20 countries in Europe, Africa and Middle East, that is constantly looking to improve processes, solve problems and ensure compliance.

The financial organization in the Netherlands is divided in various departments consisting of a fast-growing number of specialists. They offer support in all financial key process such as Financial Planning & Control, Order to Cash, Treasury, Purchase to Pay, Record to Report, VAT and many more. We have had many successful students within this department in the past few years!

A Day in the Life
Our internships are usually a combination of supporting the financial teams in their day-to-day tasks gaining real life working experience, as well as a pre-defined project or assignment. In discussion the internship can be combined with a thesis subject, that is relevant to your degree.

We offer Financial internships in many areas. Examples of previous internship assignments are:
- Support in internal and external audit activities 
- Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Support in accounting activities
- Partnering with other businesses, such as Supply Chain, Marketing or IT from a financial perspective.
- Support or lead a process improvement project, using Lean Sigma DMAIC
- Support in financial planning, analysis and reporting activities

To be eligible for an internship at Medtronic, you must be enrolled in a school or university program prior to and during the internship. Preferably a degree in the direction of Accounting and Control, Business Economics or Business Administration.

You must be eligible to work in the Netherlands. We unfortunately do not support in relocation and/or Visa application.
