• As the IT Manager for the MECC & RC Manufacturing sites, you will ensure IT initiatives support local and global business strategies.   
• Ensure the 24/7 manufacturing operations are functioning with minimal or no downtime and lead any major IT incidents/outages at the sites.
• Lead the discussions with cross functional groups (research, technology, operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and finance) on all IT initiatives  
• Manage the development of IT strategies and tactical plans for the MECC & RC site team (organization planning, technical planning, financial planning); ensure employees are involved in the process and understand their parts in the plans.  
• As a member of the site leadership team, this position will contribute to site strategies, manage site-wide issues, participate in leadership meetings and ensure alignment with IT strategies and objectives.
• Provide leadership, management and development of the department employees including performance management, individual development planning, succession planning, employee communications and positive working environment to ensure high productivity, employee engagement and performance.
• Work cross-functionally with peers to develop and influence consistent practices related to staff development, performance management, client quality programs, cost management and the promotion of global business solutions.  Establish appropriate relationships at all levels within the organization to influence and execute strategy/operations.
• Ensure proper validation documentation is created for all projects following the Medtronic System Compliance Methodology (MSCM).
• Ensure that Medtronic's systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with Medtronic's Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as best Information Protection practices.
• Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable.  Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work.

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience with an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
• Previous Medtronic experience
• Preference given to current Medtronic employees
• Priority consideration will be given to local applicants
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment and Systems (ERP, MES, etc.)
• Experience in the delivery and support of IT Systems in the area of manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ERP and MES solutions such as SAP, FACTORYworks MES, and JDE.
• Knowledge of Reporting tools such as Spotfire, Power BI & Business Objects.
• Knowledge of enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Track Wise, Workday, Enovia, Agile, and Cornerstone
• Familiar with Manufacturing concepts such as CAPA, Lean Six Sigma, DRM, and DMIAC.
• Knowledge of Enterprise infrastructure concepts.
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Strong communication skills, including communication with employees, clients, upper management and vendors
• Strong results orientation (driving to deadlines, financial targets, project goals, etc.)
• Global orientation
• Ability to work collaboratively and partner with employees, leaders, clients and vendors
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proven departmental and project finance and budgeting experience
• Strong decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently
• Technology depth and credibility to technical staff
