MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB   

The Market Development Manager – Latin America has the responsibility to implement/measure and follow the business plan and sales support programs to develop the NS business segment in Latin America.  This function will be performed primarily to lead and support the direct NS operations and measure the results and the sales force effectiveness.

 

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Create sales//business plans to meet strategic and financial objectives.  Monitor the business plan implementation, sales effectiveness, market share and profitability.
  • Work closely with the geography managers to create capital equipment packages, pricing strategies, and implement business plan to gain market share and go directly.
  • Coordinate customer satisfaction and service programs
  • Identify local market opportunities to develop and market NS GTM.
  • Prepare and coordinate and measure new product launch following the SBU strategic plans.
  • To assess future market needs and communicate opportunities for new product development to the SBU.
  • Monitoring the sales performance with regular mechanisms.
  • Connect local structure to guarantee the business plan execution
  • Connect distributor e local operation for transitions plan
  • Regulatory Affairs – Coordinate requirements for documentation to register products in country.
  • Measure and implement business and finance KPIs
  • Check point about regions requests based on business plan, forecast, demand, market evaluation, pricing, volume and market trends
  • Managing in regular basis any plan execution to be implemented in each region in Latam 
  • Must be able to travel and reside in other global locations for extended period of time.  Primary travel to Latin America with occasional travel to the USA, Europe and Asia. 


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • BS or Masters Degree in business, marketing, or sales
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing or business
  • MBA preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish necessary.
  • Proficiency in English necessary.
  • Anatomical knowledge preferred.
  • Experience in business intelligence preferred

 

SKILLS

  • Must be able to function effectively under time constraints.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and exert influence without alienating others.
  • Must be extremely well organized with strong attention to details.
