This is an exciting opportunity where, as a Pricing Strategy Manager within MITG business you will primarily focus on new launches price positioning and execution, in collaboration with the EMEA MITG pricing team; you will also take care of creation of the CEMA price corridors for key MITG products and own the MITG pricing governance process.

For this role you will be expected to be located in Warsaw, Poland or Bratislava, Slovakia or Belgrade, Serbia.


A Day in the Life
 

Principal responsibilities of MITG Pricing Strategy Manager (may include the following and other duties may be assigned): 

  • Regional strategy role within the Medtronic Global team focused on driving execution around Strategic Pricing initiatives in the CEMA region across all business units.
  • Drive and implement pricing foundation processes for the region, increasingly driving more complex strategic initiatives aligned with the corporate priorities.
  • Drive the creation of a pricing culture; support the standardization of tools, processes and metrics across the different markets within the region ensuring sustainable implementation by creating a prioritization roadmap.
  • Support goal of price consistency of product price position across the region, based on businesses’ marketing strategy in response to bids, offers and agreements.
  • Support sales force and local Pricing team with pricing strategy and rationale behind business position to help facilitate positive outcomes in pricing discussions.
  • Partner with Business Unit Managers to gain understanding of all Medtronic products and their respective market places.
  • Prepare ad hoc pricing analysis to support Big deals / agreements pricing offers.
  • Review pricing proposals with respect to marketing guidance and business objectives.
  • Train business counterparts on pricing systems and troubleshoot issues.
Must Haves and Nice to Haves:
 
Must haves: 
  • University Degree.
  • Min. 5 years of relevant (pricing) and financial management experience.
  • Knowledge of tendering process.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Native speaker of the local language.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of organization and customers.
  • Willingness to travel extensively. 
Nice to haves: 
  • Good understanding of MITG portfolio.
