This is an exciting opportunity where, as a Patient Management & Diagnostics Marketing Manager you will play a critical role in supporting Cardiac Rhythm & Heart Failure’s (CRHF) future in the Central and Eastern European region. This role will focus on managing the Diagnostics and Patient Management portfolios, which revolve mainly around cardiac diagnostics, remote patient monitoring, device programmers and device IT management systems. Marketing Manager will lead the launch and support activities around insertable cardiac monitors and drive the market development for the indications in the region. The person is also expected to lead and manage the activities of Carelink network, monitors and apps.

 

For this role you will be expected to be located in any of MDT locations in the CEE region: Warsaw, Poland / Prague, Czech Republic / Bratislava, Slovakia / Budapest, Hungary / Zagreb, Croatia / Bucharest, Romania / Belgrade, Serbia.


A Day in the Life
 

Principal responsibilities of Patient Management & Diagnostics Marketing Manager, CEE:

 
Diagnostics:
  • Develop/define the yearly regional business plan and set challenging targets and objectives for diagnostics market development team based upon this.
  • Analyze market size, competitive market landscape and other information from all sources and develops strategies to increase adoption of Medtronic diagnostics technologies.
  • Evaluate and ensure/drive execution of strategies/ad-hoc territory plans on a regular basis and coach/support team members on delivering against their plan in line with their objectives in an energizing and positive way
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with regional level key decision makers / CRHF Cluster Leaders within established and new markets, both within primary and secondary care to ensure market development activities are aligned to the clusters’ growth strategies.

Patient Management Portfolio:

  • Support regional cross-functional launch teams and ongoing marketing initiatives to meet business and revenue goals of the Patient Management portfolio.
  • Support the expansion of currently launched products and ensure countries in the region have all needs met to properly sell.
  • Participate in defining and overseeing regional strategy execution.
  • Develop and grow relationships with key customers and team members across the region.
  • Partner with EMEA HQ and SBU and other critical global and regional functions to successfully transition technologies and solutions into the marketplace.
  • Monitor competitive trends and activities, gather market data and perform thorough analysis to equip business leaders with well-rounded information for better decision making.
Tablet Strategy:
  • Drive the tablet strategy for LINQ Mobile Manager, Express Mobile and SmartSync® Programmers across the CEE region.
  • Work closely with the CEMA HQ, EMEA HQ, SBU, regional IT and the geographies on tablet sourcing, setup and maintenance strategies.
  • Assist local teams in pushing adoption of tablets and assist in the training and education piece related to it
  • Become the regional point of contact for all tablet related issues and the expert for CEE.
Strategic Marketing:
  • Design strategic marketing programs to increase penetration of remote monitoring and device management systems in under-penetrated geographies and partner with entity sales management and marketers to implement.
  • Identify, evaluate and develop new opportunities for FocusOn and Paceart® Optima
  • Create marketing tools, messaging and positioning for innovative product offering
  • Execute on regional market development and business plans in support of CRHF businesses.
Paceart® Optima System Support:
  • Drive Paceart® Optima System adoption across the CEE region by prioritizing customers and presenting solutions
  • Support sales teams in generating leads and in presenting solution to seal deals in current pipeline
  • Manage project and task coordination together with risk assessments and mitigation planning
  • Participate in Paceart® related product planning and marketing activities to ensure we are hearing and acting on the “voice of the customer”.
Must Haves and Nice to Haves:
 
Must haves:
  • Bachelor or Master – Engineering and/or Business Administration.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical industries in a marketing or brand management role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of hospital IT environment and general cardiology domain knowledge.
  • Experience in sales/marketing in a hospital environment.
  • Fluency in English is a must, local language is a plus.
  • Strategic solution-based mindset.
  • Team management skills.
  • Competent knowledge of clinical infrastructure and healthcare.
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience in project management necessary.
  • Competence in customer care and management.
  • Dedication, flexibility, reliability & ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-learner on new technology and mind-set to apply them on the field.
  • Self-confident, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, energetic and positive.
  • Team leader and player.
  • Willingness to travel (around 40% of time).
Nice to haves:
  • At least 3 years of experience in Carelink network and monitors is preferable.
