Principal Contract Optimization Analyst

In this exciting role as a Principal Contract Optimization Analyst you will have the responsibility for preparing, analyzing and interpreting sales, compliance and contract data aligned to the Contract Optimization – Center of Innovation (CO-COi) strategic targeted workstreams. Support the annually identified strategies and programs to standardize, optimize, and innovate key processes as well as measure the success of the workstreams through key performance indicators (KPIs). 

The Minimally Invasive Therapies Group strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, faster complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through less invasive surgical solutions.  

A Day in the Life 
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to improve contract decision making, support CO-COi workstreams and gain competitive advantage.
  • Analyzes and reports on sales, compliance and contract data utilizing mining tools and customized report building functions of systems.
  • Create, consolidate and communicate key data and reports to stakeholders.
  • Advise, define, create and test visualization and reporting of KPIs.
  • Maintain clear and consistent metrics and scorecards across all key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficiencies.
  • Utilize key operational and transactional data to create actionable insights for CO-COi workstreams. 
  • Maintains and reviews analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data and acts as a liaison to the business.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics across the business to effect better business outcomes.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years data modeling or analytics experience OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years data modeling or analytics experience. 

Nice to Have 
  • 10+ Years’ experience in data modeling or analytics experience
  • Knowledge of capital, rebate, pricing and GPO agreements
  • Advanced knowledge of E1 and CHAMPS (Partner, ACT, ECRS) systems
  • Expert in excel, advanced in Tableau and Alteryx
  • Consistent track record of successfully managing data
  • Data analytics, risk management and financial competence
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the matrix
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
