This is an exciting opportunity where, as a Field Education Specialist in our Neurovascular team you will  be responsible for supporting and leading programs for the purpose of preparing our Sales Force for their job in the field. You will also collaborate with EMEA Sales Training Team and sales personnel to create a field training program to train select Medtronic Neurovascular representatives and create a “best in class” sales force.

In this role you will be a critical part of the Internal Training and Education team in EMEA/CEMA working on training materials, faculty development, program development and implementation, planning and training delivery for our Medtronic Neurovascular Sales Force.

For this role you will be expected to be located in Warsaw, Poland.

A Day in the Life

Principal responsibilities of Field Education Specialist: 

  • Plans, develop and coordinates in-house product training programs for sales people in the field
  • Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids in line with Global curriculum
  • Ensures training programs meet company objectives
  • Maintains communication with customers involved in training to ensure effectiveness of training
  • May utilize sales people with technical expertise to help deliver training locally
  • Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. 

Calendar & Budget Management:

  • Determines training site locations and training dates in CEMA
  • Secures lab settings based on variety of factors
  • Helps the Senior Sales Training Manager to manage the training budget 

Training Materials:

  • Creates new materials specific to train the trainer for upcoming launches in CEMA
  • Manages quality control process for converted and new materials
  • Identifies and engages key stakeholders appropriately 

Faculty Development and Planning:

  • Develops a list of KOL/faculty to work with in CEMA for Phase 2 Advanced Courses & workshops
  • Communicates and engages KOLs to become faculty
  • Uses your strategic experience to plan KOL usage based on needs of business
  • Develops and oversees INR/Neurologists/Stroke Physician relationships 
Deliver Training:
  • Once comfortable with the subject matter, leads training events in CEMA
  • Supports at least 2 x EMEA Phase 1 and Phase 2 courses (8 weeks annually) 

Event Management & Delivery:

  • Plans and executes events of varying sizes in partnership with CEMA team Project Coordinators.
Must Haves and Nice to Haves:
Must have: 
  • Min. Bachelors’ degree
  • Min. 4 years of relevant experience (in sales, training and/or medical education)
  • Fluency in English and Polish
  • A team player with a track record of working collaboratively cross-functional and generate impact and results through others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong presentation skills, self-confident
  • Willingness to travel (up to 70% of time) 
Nice to haves:
  • Medical device or clinical training experience
  • Knowledge of Interventional Procedures
  • Experience with Neurovascular platforms
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Experience developing, implementing, and delivery of educational plans and programs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships
