• Consults with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs turning those needs into system requirements. 
• Provides technical expertise for system functional specifications and deploys new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner. 
• May configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, system, and integration testing to meet business requirements. 
• May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

• This role is within the Restorative Therapies Group (RTG) Implantables (formerly Neuro) Project Management Office (PMO) within the Research and Development (R&D) team.  The RTGI team consists of five therapy groups:  Spinal Cord Stimulation, Targeted Drug Delivery, Deep Brain Stimulation, Pelvic Health, and Shared (projects that service multiple therapy groups).
• The PMO provides products and services too all R&D project/program teams across RTGI, in order to facilitate the effective and efficient development of products for our customers.
• This role is the point person for gathering requirements from all stakeholders regarding data needed to plan/manage/lead project teams and developing the tools to expose the data in the format that is most appropriate for its use.
• There is an existing system of excel spreadsheets and macros to deliver monthly project status reports (project dashboards) and to compile these projects for a summary report at the therapy level (Therapy Scorecard) that needs to be maintained.
• This role will also be the point person for the implementation, development, maintenance, training and support for our MS Project Online implementation.  This system will be expanding to be the source of truth for project information across RTGI.
• The initial role will involve heavy requirements gathering, prioritization, development and training across project teams to ensure that information needed to execute the R&D portfolio is readily available to all stakeholders.
• Power BI is the newly adopted reporting tool.  This role will build reports through Power BI and deliver these reports in the format that is needed for the consumer of the information.
• This role will require strong collaboration skills and relationship management across many functions and levels of the hierarchy.
• The role will own the processes that are required to keep data updated, will need to monitor compliance ro the process and own problem resolution should compliance become a challenge.

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
• Previous Medtronic experience
• Preference given to current Medtronic employees
• Priority consideration will be given to local applicants
• Experience with MS Project Online
• Experience with MS Project Server
• Development or administrative experience with Sharepoint
• Experience developing reports using Power BI
• Development experience with other reporting tools
