Sales and/or sales management experience preferred in the medical device environment (5+ years).
Working in an international environment and in virtual teams (minimum 1 year).
Sales skill training, sales coaching and sales management training (examples: SPIN, PSS, CSS, and situational leadership).
Adult Learning Principles and instructional design principles (needs assessment, performance metrics, training tactics).
Learning Management System (example: Cornerstone).
Customer Relationship Management Systems (example: SalesForce.com). Ability to effectively utilize CRM tools to monitor performance and effectiveness of opportunity management.
Project management experience (applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements).
BA/BS degree required.
Very strong English language skills, both spoken and written; every additional European language is a plus.
Facilitation, Coaching as well as Training accreditation (desirable) experience.
Strategic and analytic thinker and experienced in change management (Intelligent analysis of raw data can be invaluable for setting the vision for the future and maintain the path towards that vision).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Being able to communicate clearly on applications, processes and the strategic vision, is key).
Comfort around Higher Management. Diplomacy is key to gain support and address change at all levels.
Ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate sources, and use skillful questioning to draw out the information, when others are reluctant to disclose it.
Organisational Agility (Cross functional agility allows managers to understand the different challenges that can arise and understand how the different functions can impact performance or support the development).
Managing and measuring work through systems (Analytics and business insight. Intelligent analysis of raw data can be invaluable for sales leaders to understand the performance of the organisation).
Advanced negotiation Skills (Ability to gain others' support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions).
Involves others in the process or decision to ensure their support.
Fostering Innovation (The ability to develop, sponsor, or support the introduction of new and improved method (including training tactics and distant learning technology), products, procedures, or technologies).
Staff development (Working to improve the performance of oneself and others by pursuing opportunities for continuous learning/feedback; constructively helps and coaches others in their professional development).
