A Day in the Life

We are currently recruiting for a Product Manager position within our Spinal & Biologics unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your marketing experience and work within an exciting portfolio. Working within a great team of Marketing professionals you will be given the opportunity to work with the Product Marketing Team and Sales Teams to implement plans to drive Medtronic’s market share across assigned portfolios.

This is a unique opportunity to join Medtronic, reporting to the Marketing Manager Spinal and Biologics ANZ; Within this role you will join a team of highly collaborative and talented marketing and sales professionals and play an instrumental role in providing product specialist support within Australia/NZ for the Sales Team and be the expert reference for the specialist product ranges.

Key accountabilities:

  • Be clearly recognised as the ANZ product expert for the Interbody Product Portfolio.
  • Proactively support the sales force and customers in-person and remotely with a regular cadence of high-impact communications and interactions
  • Passionately demonstrate superior product, clinical and surgical knowledge that clearly differentiates Medtronic’s comprehensive products and service capabilities from the competition
  • Liaise with colleagues locally and globally, both within the Spine business unit and collaboratively in related portfolios within CST.
  • Develop and manage direct relationships with key customers for involvement in education programs such as courses and Visiting Surgeon Programs (VSPs)
  • Work closely with Operations/Supply Chain colleagues to forecast and manage inventory with a view to maximizing inventory performance while ensuring products are available when and where needed
  • Lead the preparation and submission activities for hospital tenders and contracts, working closely with colleagues across functions and related portfolios


Must Have:

  • 3+ years in medical device sales and/or marketing, ideally with spine/neurosurgery products experience.
  • Tertiary degree in a field relevant to business and/or healthcare
