Product Manager - Aortic and Peripheral Vascular

  • Develop and implement marketing/sales strategic and tactical plans in alignment with the Latam marketing team for the product lines, including market and customer segmentation, targeting, portfolio positioning, competitive analysis, with measurable objectives and initiatives that will drive APV growth
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase the awareness and acceptance of aortic and peripheral vascular portfolio with all stakeholders, including hospital accounts, public and private payers, KOLs. Responsible for maintaining and improve the relations with institution and key opinion leaders creating, managing and supporting local and international physician educational training programs.
  • Responsible for leading and motivating the direct and the indirect sales team to ensure strategies implementation. Ability to lead/influence and work with sales to develop and implement growth action plans and initiatives.
  • Develop product launch plan and identify product roll-out strategy in collaboration with Latam marketing and sales team as well as develop promotional materials, training, events and campaigns that support the brand and portfolio positioning.
  • Continuously monitor competitive activity and develop/execute appropriate strategies and tactics to leverage and protect market share.
  • Develop product/portfolio training program together educational specialists to direct and indirect sales force, tracking training performance over time.
  • Visit clients on a regular basis. Support field execution of marketing programs through active presence in the field, working with sales representatives, identifying opportunities in bids and defining the price and strategy participation without compromise margin.
  • Monitor the sales team’s performance, controlling price limits aiming to ensure gross margin and EBIT achievement. Achieve the profitability of the category as previously set in the budget through sales control, product mix, price positioning, investments and expenses analysis, consignation of products.
  • Develop, implement and maintain product/portfolio forecast and supply process, including submission of monthly forecast reports, attending S&OP and NPI activities, resolving product supply issues with LatAm and SBU global supply leads.
  • Responsible for operational marketing and support to the go direct strategy and all needs from the commercial area
  • Responsible for the technical revision of the RA material that will be submitted to ANVISA for approval and keep the local product database aligned to the description of the agency and Health Care Plans registries, mainly for commercial purposes and bidding.
  • Manage the expenses budget, with P&L responsibility.
  • Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Medtronic. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Scientific or Business area
  • MBA or post-graduation desired
  • + 7 years with medical devices in marketing or sales
  • 5 years of experience in Marketing and/or Marketing Development
  • Previous experience in new products launch.
  • Previous experience in sales


  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Spanish desired
  • Organizational, Negotiation skills
  • Decision-making capacity
  • Interpersonal Skills


  • Previous experience with medical devices, preferably with Vascular, coronary or Orthopedics
  • Good level in Excel and Power Point.
  • Capacity of adapting to new situations, with agility to learn and absorb new challenges and goals.
  • Organization, discipline e leadership.
  • Skills with commercial negotiations.
  • Availability for local and international travels. 
  • Good communications skills.
