Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of Program or Project Management experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Manufacturing transfer experience  
Nice to Have 
  • Master’s degree in Engineering and/or MBA 
  • Experience in successfully leading a medical device project from concept to market in FDA regulated industry
  • Technical leadership experience with international teams and engineering service providers 
  • Highly skilled in use of MS Excel.
  • Proficient in use of project management tools such as MS Project
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to present data in meaningful and relevant fashion to aid in decision making process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including management of expectations, and relationships with Marketing, Sales, business leaders, and customers
  • Excellent interpersonal and influence skills including efficient collaboration, effective negotiation, timely conflict resolution, and creative problem solving of difficult situations such as resource constraints, ambiguous/conflicting requirements, and other road-blocks
  • Excellent team leadership/management skills including effectively managing multi-disciplined teams comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds such as Software, Regulatory, Hardware, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Marketing, external business partners and/or vendors
  • Strong technical experience in complex technology development/verification programs including ability to understand technical information, discuss/decide on a wide array of engineering disciplines and technical/logistical issues.  Exposure to systems engineering, concept engineering, QFD, hardware and software development, validation and systems integration would be preferred
  • Expert-level skills using the tools and techniques of Project Management.  Must have successfully managed multiple projects from conception through commercialization
  • Possess courage and confidence in managing risks and making decisions that will likely have a large impact on organizational objectives
  • Experience in successfully leading a medical device project from concept to market in FDA regulated industry
  • PMP Certification        
  • Travel < 25%
