Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 5 years of Program or Project Management experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Manufacturing transfer experience
Nice to Have
Master’s degree in Engineering and/or MBA
Experience in successfully leading a medical device project from concept to market in FDA regulated industry
Technical leadership experience with international teams and engineering service providers
Highly skilled in use of MS Excel.
Proficient in use of project management tools such as MS Project
Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to present data in meaningful and relevant fashion to aid in decision making process.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including management of expectations, and relationships with Marketing, Sales, business leaders, and customers
Excellent interpersonal and influence skills including efficient collaboration, effective negotiation, timely conflict resolution, and creative problem solving of difficult situations such as resource constraints, ambiguous/conflicting requirements, and other road-blocks
Excellent team leadership/management skills including effectively managing multi-disciplined teams comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds such as Software, Regulatory, Hardware, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Marketing, external business partners and/or vendors
Strong technical experience in complex technology development/verification programs including ability to understand technical information, discuss/decide on a wide array of engineering disciplines and technical/logistical issues. Exposure to systems engineering, concept engineering, QFD, hardware and software development, validation and systems integration would be preferred
Expert-level skills using the tools and techniques of Project Management. Must have successfully managed multiple projects from conception through commercialization
Possess courage and confidence in managing risks and making decisions that will likely have a large impact on organizational objectives
Experience in successfully leading a medical device project from concept to market in FDA regulated industry
PMP Certification
Travel < 25%
