In this exciting role as a R&D Labeling Engineer II you will have responsibility for supporting the development of medical device labeling for the NV business by coordinating across functions as well as multiple US and international sites.


The Neuroscience Group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.

BRAIN THERAPIES offers an integrated portfolio of devices
and therapies for the treatment of neurological disorders and diseases, as well as surgical technologies designed to improve the precision and workflow of neuro procedures.

A Day in the Life

Provides project support and orchestration of labeling development activities interfacing with Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Technical Communications, Legal, and Package Engineering, site Operations, and other relevant business partners.


  • Leads cross-functional collaboration and influences the scope of changes and labeling requirements.
  • Identify and engage outside contract resources to perform detailed activities for product and documentation release.
  • Coordinate outside contract resources to achieve project and team goals and objectives.
  • Coordinates project plan for labeling activities to meet timelines and provides inputs and supports overall project plan based on label development requirements.
  • Clearly communicate product and project requirements to the labeling design team to ensure timely and accurate execution of key deliverables.
  • Communicate with project team leaders regarding completion status of, or delays to, project deliverables.
  • Prepare technical product documentation including design history files, drawings, bills of materials, test protocols and reports, engineering change orders (ECO), etc.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and spreadsheets of an analytical and interpretative nature.
  • Manages the review and approval process for all new and revised labeling content.
  • Basic understanding of applicable global labeling regulations and standards.
  • Provide leadership, training and mentorship to less experienced team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects with a strong problem-solving ability.
  • Adhere to safety policy procedures.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in a technically related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Higher degree of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Experience working in business systems including Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Packaging experience preferred
