Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Knowledge/education:
•B.A degree ideally coupled with postgraduate degree.
•Minimum 10 years ‘experience in medical device sales and marketing roles
•Minimum of five years of management/leadership experience in health-care/device sales or marketing.
•Strong Strategic Thinking, Change Leadership & Innovation Management
•Good team builder, talent developer and connector across RTG / MDT
•Collaboration & Integration
•Agile in a matrix structure with strong negotiation skills
•Fluency in local language and strong English skills
•Strong track record of success and achievement.
•Results driven and focused.
•Experience with RTG products a plus.
•Strong leadership and influence skills for all levels of the business and medical community.
•Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and local language
•A flexible individual feeling at ease in different cultures and situations.
•Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

Skills and competencies
•This individual must have the drive and ambition to grow the overall sales of the RTG business.
•He/She must be able to stay focused on the strategic growth drivers by country and not get distracted as a multitude of opportunities present themselves.
•Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems and articulate implementation plans for the country/region
•Role Model for operating in the ambiguous situations, champions positive ideas and challenges consistently the conventional wisdom.
•Serves as an advocate for major change initiatives and conveys need for action to others to motivate change.
•Able to build and manage strong relationship at all levels in Medtronic and work in a matrix business environment.
•Ability to create alignment with Medtronic country leaders, RTG BU country leaders and Marketing Organization.

•Strong talent development skills: Provides constructive feedback and coaching and creates an environment for effective talent development.
•Strong motivation skills of groups in a multi-cultural environment, engaging and convincing personality, able to motivate his direct and dotted line teams to achieve business objectives.
•Assertive in setting high expectations for the organization, persistent in efforts to achieve goals and remove barriers. Strong ability to get plans executed from direct and non-direct reports.
•Possesses sense of urgency in decision making process, yet still maintains well though-out, data-driven decision making process.
•Ability to manage within the budget and to quantify financial impact of decisions and identifies key factors when making recommendations.
•Ability to convey messages effectively in a variety of settings and across levels.
•Leads by example, shows integrity and highest ethical standards in every action.
