The Sales Representative DIB is a typically sales professional individual contributor with direct sales responsibilities. She/he may direct the work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and closing sales.

 

For this role candidate is expected to be located in North-Central Slovakia.


 

A Day in the Life

 
Principal responsibilities of Sales Representative DIB:
 
  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's Diabetes products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians, clinicians, specialists, diabetes educators, health service stakeholders and other non-clinical buyers.
  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Diabetes products and/or services.
  • Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
  • Provides onsite training of customer support personnel, patients and patient organizations.
  • Promotes and establishes physician and account education of the company's products and/or services.
  • Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.
  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Must Haves:

  • University degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and complete knowledge of company products and services.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
