The Senior Integration Program Manager will be an integral member of the Business Development & Strategy team. Successful integrations are essential to ensure that Medtronic realizes the expected benefits from its acquisitions and external partnerships. We are seeking an action-driven individual to join our team. As a Senior Integration Manager, you will be responsible for leading high-profile, strategic integrations. You will partner closely with functions to ensure strong (on-time and on-budget) execution of integration objectives. You will be directly responsible for implementing processes, systems and tools for integration while helping maintain business continuity.  You will lead teams across Medtronic functions, regions and businesses in the successful implementation of acquired technology/ products leveraging Medtronic’s best-in-class processes.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
•Partner with NV Business Development and functional leaders to implement acquisition and business model strategies determined during due diligence
•Lead high-profile, strategic integrations for the global Neurovascular business to achieve deal model proforma and program objectives
•Partner with external entity/ acquisition target and internal Medtronic resources to lead integration work streams (potentially, multiple integrations simultaneously) and meet all methodology and work stream deliverables for acquisition integration, including diligence, integration work stream plan development and execution
•Develop and maintain tracking mechanisms to ensure program-level view of integration workstreams, inclusive of timelines, budgetary performance and risk mitigation plans
•Communicate progress and status of integration activities to senior management
•Identifies and develops processes and systems which enable enhanced execution of projects / initiatives, leveraging internal and external resources as appropriate and efficient
•Collaborate within a matrixed environment to establish strong working relationships with Medtronic corporate and regional partners
•Can participate in strategic discussions as needed; may facilitate high-level meetings / discussions, driving decisions and actionable outcomes 
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of work experience in a Business Development, Investment Banking, Finance, Upstream Marketing, Management Consulting, Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, and/or technical role (or 5+ years with Advanced Degree) 

Nice to Have 
  • 2+ years of experience in medical device or other highly regulated industry
  • Experience including business development/ mergers & acquisitions, integration/ program management, or management consulting with proven track record of leading successful product / company integration efforts
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills to articulate complex problems in a simplified way and to gather and communicate the complex technical and business issues clearly & succinctly.
  • Track record of successfully navigating a matrixed environment to achieve goals and project completion, with demonstrated success in leading through both authority and influence. Experience developing and delivering executive level messaging and presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced skills in MS Power Point, MS Excel, and MS Project
  • Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management
  • Professional (PgMP) certification preferred
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Business acumen; ability to think and act from an overall “best for the business” perspective
  • Results oriented; strong sense of urgency
  • Strong analytical, planning, organization and time management skills to effectively develop and execute comprehensive programs and budgets
