Must Haves
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Qualified accountant educated to degree level - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
  • Extensive, demonstrable & varied experience in accounting or finance.
  • Significant and progressive leadership experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), UK and Ireland Statutory regulations, UK Senior Accounting Officer Regulations.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Exceptional Business Partnering skills at C Suite and all levels of the organisation – ability to influence and guide decision making.
  • Ability to inspire others to excel, communicate with impact and drive execution.
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Nice to Haves
  • High degree of initiative.
  • Successful track record of supervising, leading and developing a diverse financial team.
  • Demonstration of excellent judgment and decision making.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal, quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in leveraging emerging technologies to support the continuous transformation in finance.
