This position has the responsibility to perform Expense financial planning and analysis for the Restorative Therapies Group (RTG) Sales organization. The position will work closely with key partners across Sales Finance, RTG Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Units.  This position will report to the Senior Finance Manager - RTG Sales Finance.

 

Day in the life

  • Deliver monthly expense analysis and forecasting, including key drivers and risk and opportunities for Sr Sales Leadership, Business Unit partners and RTG leadership.
  • Develop the annual operating plan (AOP) for Sales Expense, including spending options to support strategic initiatives. Collaborate in design of potential compensation models in conjunction with sales leadership and HR.  Partner with functional areas to maintain control of budgeted spend such as marketing, meetings, travel, training, awards or Presidents trip.
  • Provide Field Sales Cost Center Reporting including rollout of AOP budgets for field sales and monthly performance vs. budget.
  • Perform certain monthly accounting and related processes for sales related expenses in conjunction with Controller team.  
  • Work with key stakeholders for continuous improvement for forecasting, expense management, systems and processes.
  • Proactively identify trends, prepare agendas, lead meetings and/or present to business partners
  • Proactively seek out areas of process & productivity improvement
  • Maintain Field Expense policies, assess cost containment and standardization opportunities, implement and communicate as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Functions in highly matrixed org, such as HR, Payroll, Corporate Accounting, Marketing and IT.
  • Ad hoc analysis and special deep dives; engage in special projects as assigned

Must Have:   Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • 4+ years of Financial and/or Accounting experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; or 2+ years of Financial and/or Accounting experience with a Master’s Degree
 

Nice to Have:  

  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Experience with Essbase/Hyperion strongly preferred
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) work experience preferred
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify key trends and drivers and the proven experience translating financial data into meaningful, concise information
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Tactful, exercises independent judgment and discretion
  • Intellectual agility and ability to learn fast
  • Excellent written/oral communication & presentation skills
