As a Health Economics & Reimbursement (HE&R) Analyst, the key objectives of your role will be to provide reimbursement submission management and HE&R advice to the business including Business Unit leaders and their commercial teams, as well as support functions such as Regulatory & Quality Affairs, Pricing, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and Customer Service to support BU strategic plan and Market Access activities.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
•    Develops and implements reimbursement strategies and programs to obtain funding / coverage, coding and payment from payer/providers.
•    Develop, implement, and execute economic evidence generation projects (including cost-effectiveness modelling, budget impact model and economic value from a hospital perspective) to demonstrate and level up the benefits of our product portfolio
•    Promote a solid, evidence-based interaction with HTA bodies to enable patient access to Medtronic therapies.
•    Provides reimbursement-related advice to product development teams, local and regional marketing, sales, regulatory, clinical and business leaders.
•    Identifies payer opportunities and issues and implements programs to resolve/decrease barriers to gain market access for the company's products or therapies at national, regional and hospital level.
•    Collaborate with regional teams in EMEA HE&R to ensure regional needs and perspectives are adequately captured within European and Global HE&R strategies.
•    Actively participate in finding new business forms in order to support Company strategy to extend customer’s partnership in time, adjusting the business to funding resources and finding new add-value to complement Company offers.
•    Develop resources and support sales force, physician and customer training and education on health economics and reimbursement related topics. 


• Master’s Degree in Health Economics
• At least 3 years of previous Healthcare Economics & Reimbursement experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively within a diverse but cohesive team environment
• Ability to work autonomously
• Fluent level of Spanish and English
