Senior Marketing Specialist LATAM - Acute Ischemic Stroke

·         Provide a focused approach to developing new and under-penetrated AIS markets, key opinion leaders, and targeted accounts to achieve sales revenue targets and grow market size/share for a LATAM region, by promoting our products and therapies. 

·         Provide detailed technical and clinical support for AIS products and procedures to physicians and support staff.

·         Drive the development of stroke care through the consumer and patient awareness of stroke symptoms

·         Partnering with governments, patient associations, and key institutions on stroke public awareness campaigns.

·         Deploying best-practices of stroke routing protocol in partner hospitals

·         Developing comprehensive training programs for the treatment of stroke

·         Development of stroke centers of excellence in key accounts.

·         The goal of the Sr AIS Marketing Specialist LATAM is to ensure that no patient suffers a stroke without receiving the medical attention and therapies they deserve.



·         Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

·         Synthesize and communicate best-practices to develop stroke systems of care.

·         Responsible for developing and building AIS Market Development Strategy

·         Supports the local Acute Ischemic Stroke team with the development of education programs for referral physicians and other referral health professionals involved in the Pathology treatment Manage and implement Referral Programs, Centre of Excellence Training on a per country basis, and increase the number of patients.

·         Strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including EMS, neurologist, NIRs, neurosurgeons, nurses, administrators and key opinion leaders.

·         Utilize best-practices to drive consumer and public awareness of stroke symptoms and care.

·         Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Neurovascular products and/or services.

·         Provides clinical and technical support during cases and informs the clinician of patient treatment options.

·         Promotes education of the company's products and/or services.

·         Conducts and/or evaluates market research including customers and competitors activities.

·         Develops and/or implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

·         Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

·         Establishes effective relationships and collaborates with other departments (Marketing, Finance, HR, Sales Training, etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities.

·         Collaborates with assigned Territory Manager in geography.

·         Develop a local account targeting and qualification plan.

·         Track program metrics


·         Excellent written and verbal communication; Creative intuition, Deep knowledge of social media, excel and adobe illustrator platform; Ability to analyze data, show reports and results and make optimizations based on the data collected; High Organization level; Be aware for changing digital marketing; Fast answer to trends and opportunities; Proactivity.



  • Graduation in medical science education is preferable (Nurse, Physiotherapist)
  • English and Spanish language are required




Bachelors Degree and 4+ years B2B experience and complete knowledge of company products and services.



  • 5+ years of medical devices experience preferred; relevant industry, marketing, or medical education experience considered. e.g.: Medical sales marketing or hospital service line functions, demonstrating ability to direct and influence sales or procedure volume growth.

  • Preferable clinical experience in the interventional suite, hospital environment, or emergency medical response

  • Experience in medical sales, preferably focused on interventional procedures

  • Communicates with external suppliers, customers and / or vendors, involving advanced negotiation and / or presentations in order to manage relationships and close sales

  • Ability to present information clearly and effectively and in front of large audiences (ex. 75+).

  • Strategic and analytical thinker

  • Ability to adapt and change within dynamic corporate and business environment
