This is an exciting opportunity for a high potential, analytical, pro-active candidate to join the MITG SI Pricing team. This person, reporting to the Strategic Pricing Manager, acts as the liaison between the Marketing and Offer Development teams for Pricing responsibilities including creation of new product pricing, scenario modeling, and financial analysis.  The individual will also provide guidance to Marketing on new product pricing strategies, implementation of Marketing promotions and tracking price volume initiatives.  With in-depth knowledge and understanding of company products, pricing programs, and market trends, the individual will help to establish strategic pricing processes and procedures as well as pricing analytic models. This person will interact with Marketing, Shared Services, Legal, Sales and Offer Development team members during the pricing development process.

A Day in the Life

  • Owns the Strategic New Product Pricing process for the implementation of all standard deals, including: development of price points, maintenance of pricing in ERP system, presentation of content to Marketing teams and Pricing Leadership, and timely communication of outcome to Internal Partners.
  • Key contributor to U.S. business success and achievement of financial objectives.
  • Required to balance the Marketing needs with business requirements.
  • Prepares and disseminates information with marketing, sales and finance regarding pricing formulas, margin improvements, customer segmentation, etc.
  • Empowered and encouraged to drive efficiencies with existing processes and systems
  • Expected to deliver training to the Marketing organization and other functional groups, as needed

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Nice to Have


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration

  • MBA

  • Skilled at project management and a self-starter

  • Six Sigma and/or Lean Training and Certification

  • Medical device industry experience 

  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • High degree of analytical ability and attention to detail

  • Prior pricing and/or financial expertise

  • Experience with supporting commercial departments in evaluation and consulting on business issues/proposals

  • Sound presentation skills and comfortable delivering content to various audiences

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
