If you want to be part of a global, collaborative, and fast-paced team where you can be a part of building the way CVG global pricing operates, keep reading.  The Senior Analyst, CVG Pricing Strategy is a highly impactful role which will work across the CVG business units to build and execute pricing programs and strategies to maximize our business objectives.

 
A Day in the Life:

Assist in commercialization strategies, market value assessments, and pricing projects for new or existing CVG therapies, which include (but are not limited to) new products, services, solutions, tools & analytics, and value-based healthcare contracts.

 
  • Develop Revenue & EBIT optimizing strategies.
  • Lead projects from concept to commercialization, integrate and train post launch.
  • Create risk assessments and customer segmentation strategies which may include decision support tools.
  • Communicate programmatic contracting, legal, and or pricing ops/administration requirements.
  • Uncover practical business insights and solutions from complex data sets.
  • Fashion consistent tools, reporting, analytics to inform go forward commercial strategy.
  • Present key programmatic updates and complex findings to senior leadership and other internal stakeholders.
                                                                                                                                 
Position Responsibilities:

33% Competitive Pricing Strategy & Analytics

Build out Pricing team’s competitive and market intelligence tools, capabilities, and training.

  • Produce market assessment tools, processes to be utilized in pricing decisions, upstream and downstream.
  • Integrate and train Pricing team to apply competitive data and intel to pricing decisions.
  • Collect and analyze market trends and competitive positioning.
  • Develop on-going reporting tools, metrics, and stakeholder communication plan.
 
33% Pricing Program Management

Build out Pricing strategies, capabilities, and tools through various business-related / prioritized projects.

  • Early focus will be on improving CVG’s pricing data and analytics capabilities.
  • Lead projects from concept to commercialization, integrate, train and measure.
  • Improve organizational data and analytics capabilities such that ASP decision making improves.
 

33% Value-Based Healthcare / New Business Model Strategy & Analytics

Collaborate and provide robust data driven support to global commercial business units /teams aiding in the development and dissemination of novel business models across the globe.

  • Produce quarterly performance metrics for CVG
  • Conduct pricing, ROI, breakeven assessments regarding new product launches and/or new business models
  • Ensure necessary finance outputs and reviews while driving best practice opportunities

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Nice to Have
  • Undergrad Economics minor or major
  • Proficiency in SAP, Business Objects, Healthcare Information Databases
  • Experience with Spotfire / Tableau
  • Experience in risk assessment, scenario planning, forecasting, modeling
  • Healthcare finance experience or healthcare economics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Negotiation or influence management capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
  • Intellectual curiosity in understanding the business and what drives success
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
