We are hiring a Senior Product Manager for the Targeted Drug Delivery (TDD) upstream marketing team.  This is an exciting role that will require strong collaboration with other functions to determine business and customer needs, build the strategic roadmap for the business and develop annual strategic plans, and to lead strategic programs and initiatives with a wide range of internal staff such as Sales, Marketing, R&D, Production, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Clinical, Training & Education and Management.

TDD is part of the Restorative Therapies Group, Pain Therapies business.


A Day in the Life
  • You will conduct research and collaborates with clinicians to identify and prioritize clinical needs, product and technology gaps, and to develop customer requirements.
  • Represent voice of the customer in team discussions to guide trade-offs and product feature / design decisions.
  • Identify and investigate opportunities and partners for current and/or new markets, products and procedures.  Conduct market, sales and financial analysis to support opportunity assessments.
  • Conduct strategic competitive landscape assessments to include both current competitors and future threats.
  • Generate business plans, market requirements documents, presentations and supporting materials to align all functional groups behind a common vision and strategy.  Present business cases to leadership team to gain portfolio strategy alignment and product cadence.
  • Lead all new product introduction projects for Phase 0-2 (VOX assessment; solution assessment; business assessment) of the ID2MR process.
  • Collaborate with global partners to drive alignment with strategies and business objectives.
  • Travel domestically and internationally in support of customer engagements and internal events – approximately 20%


Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in marketing, strategy or product management experience with a Bachelors' degree, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry

  • Demonstrated knowledge and capability in cross-functional team management with the ability to influence and lead others.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to manage several, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including strong verbal, written and presentation skills including the ability to present complex material in a simple and effective manner appropriate to the level of the audience.
  • Strong leadership in developing comprehensive global business assessments, strategies, tactics and solutions to drive business objectives.
  • Upstream product marketing or development with both feasibility and launch experience.Ability to understand complex technical product information.
  • An ability to work with all levels of management including Senior Leadership.
  • Experience working across geographical regions.
  • Strong computer skills in spreadsheet, presentation and word processing software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
