As a Senior Product Manager with the Spine US Marketing downstream team, you will be responsible for downstream marketing activities for the largest product portfolio within the Posterior Degenerative/Anterior Cervical business, a very important and highly visible position managing our entire MIS portfolio.  


In this role you will oversee multiple programs that are critical to the success of the Business Unit.  Responsibilities will include but not limited to; establishing launch plans that will attain financial goals, communicate and lead meetings with internal and external customers, develop and execute program strategies that drive overall portfolio revenue.  You will interact heavily with the sales force and deal with complex problems daily.  Additionally, you will be charged with planning and executing quarterly activities with a broad sales force and collaborate across a matrix to drive new sales initiatives.

A Day in the Life
  • Accountable for revenue attainment and expense management within the projects / products of responsibility.
  • Accountable for creating marketing campaigns, messaging and training on projects within portfolio.
  • Accountable for building and maintaining a broad relationship base
  • Accountable for inventory management to include forecasting, obsolescence and launch execution.
  • Executive level interactions and presentations
  • 15 – 20% travel
General responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
  • Formulates and reviews corporate short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product or product line.
  • Conducts competitive product analysis and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience.
  • Determines the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements.
  • Develops production and marketing strategies and tactics to ensure effective product placement relative to market opportunity, working closely with product development for a specific product, brand, or product area over its entire life cycle.
  • Works with other functions to finalize product specifications.
  • Provides advertising with core brand equity.
  • Serves as technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product issues.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in sales or marketing, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
  • MBA
  • Medical device knowledge
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of spinal pathologies, procedures, and products
  • Worked with or has experience interacting with a broad sales force and can clearly articulate a message to all level of stakeholder
