APAC Process Transformation Lead


Our APAC Process Transformation Lead is a key position within a newly created team responsible for the delivery of process innovation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives across APAC Supply Chain Planning. You will be responsible in driving capacity relief within APAC Planning teams by facilitating and leading the transition of work to a central transaction engine.


You will also play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.


You will be part of the APAC Planning Centre of Excellence (COE). Our COE will develop and align Planning strategies and innovations in close collaboration with the Supply Chain Leadership, Supply Chain local leaders and Global Supply Chain to develop best in class solutions, processes and automation to our supply chain to provide our customers with the best experience possible.


As our APAC Process Transformation Lead, you are required to manage APAC-wide cross-functional projects, providing valuable advice on process, people and automation technology inputs relevant to the business related to Supply Chain Planning and executing on the process/automation initiatives.


Responsibilities


As an individual contributor in the APAC Planning Intelligent Hub team, you will be responsible to :

  • Successfully transition the identified Supply Chain Planning processes to the Control Tower, defining control mechanisms, KPIs, SLAs, ensuring no business disruption.
  • Identify and deliver planning process improvements and service delivery improvement through process improvement methodologies, automation technology and the application of innovative thinking
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning teams across APAC to document, standardize and streamline Supply Chain planning processes, tools, reports and outcomes.
  • Build a continuous improvement environment to transform APAC Supply Chain Planning to effectively support business needs in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Define requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis and workflow analysis
  • Lead and facilitate LEAN/process improvement based workshops to drive ideas and solutions
  • Drive efficiency and eliminate ‘waste’ in APAC Supply Chain Planning Processes through standardization, simplification, elimination, automation of processes.
  • Identify and execute on technology trends, automation opportunities and process variations as part of driving continuous improvement of APAC Planning processes and striving to Best In Class.
  • Lead change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls
  • Collaborate with other team members and business services departments to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements
  • Actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance
  • Ensure the business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, results tracked and controlled to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other functions within the APAC Planning COE so as to deliver on the initiatives and goals of the APAC Planning COE.
  • All other duties as assigned by manager.

 

Must Have - Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience


Your Profile

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/ Engineering/Information Technology/ Computer science
  • 5-8 years experience in Supply Chain and SAP
  • Preferable Experience in Medical Device Industry
  • Lean, Six Sigma green or black belt certification an advantage
  • 5-8 Years project management experience
  • Change Management Agent and experience in complex program management, automation, process & system development
  • Extensive working and technical knowledge of SAP APO and ECC functionality and concepts a plus
  • Effective and seasoned working in a matrix organization and multi-level stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and orally, to wide variety of audiences
