The Medtronic Human Resources team performs critical work that will allow us to take healthcare further, together. As a Senior Workday Support Analyst, you will be responsible for ongoing support and maintenance for the Compensation and Performance functional areas of, Workday. You will have a wide breadth of functional knowledge, specific expertise with using and maintaining systems, work with complex problems, issues and processes, and will lead key functional stakeholders through risk and impact analysis of Payroll and Absence enhancements and change requests. You will make decisions about system issues relating, but not limited to, business processes and system configurations; ensuring global compliance with business specifications, varied plan provisions, statutory requirements, and up-/down-stream impacts.

This role is a remote based position that can be based anywhere

A Day in the Life
Analyze, design, and configure features and functions within Workday for the Compensation and Performance functional areas.
Configure and implement business process enhancements.
Participate in functional and regression testing for enhancements, projects, and upgrades.
Work within an agile team to create iterative solutions that meet business needs.
Perform fit/gap analysis on processes to drive continuous improvement.
Works with HR Centers of Expertise, vendors and/or IT to design, implement and maintain core human resource technologies.
Combines Human Resource and specialized system knowledge to recommend, implement, and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new features for systems.
Provides analysis and consultation related to programs, policies and practices that obtain, record, and process worker information or HR support related data.
Analyzes technology capabilities to produce information used to maximize and sustain workforce productivity and effectively deliver HR support to the global organization.

Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience OR advanced degree with 2+ years relevant experience

Nice to Have
Workday configuration experience
Workday implementation experience
Workday certification
Experience working in a virtual team
Experience in compensation and performance
