SERVICE & REPAIR TECHNICIAN

In this role you provide technical support (maintenance and repair) on our Medtronic medical equipment. You will use schematics, diagrams, manuals, verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipments or systems.  

Your main tasks will be to maintain and repair medical equipment which also includes performing inspections and tests. It is important that you can interpret and analyze technical data. Administration including creating reports on the repairs you perform is of significant importance. The technical problems you will face are mainly routine (described in manuals), but do require interpretation of procedures or policies to resolve problems.

You will mainly communicate with internal contacts, although first line support to customers can be part of your job.

For this job you require basic job knowledge of  electronical systems, techniques and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education. You require 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Must Haves

  • Degree in Electronics
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • English (speaking/reading/writing)
  • You need to be based in Limburg area

Nice to Haves

  • SAP experience
  • Soldering skills

Please note that for this position, relocation support is not provided. Preferably, we are looking for candidates that live within a max 80km radius of our Medtronic office in Heerlen , the Netherlands.
