A Day in the Life

The Repair Center Technician will diagnostic, troubleshoot, test, calibrate and repair medical devices and subassemblies according company procedures and standards.

In rare cases, the Repair Center Technician may be required to repair products in the field at  the Customer site or at a Repair Center in another country.

Additional activities:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, calibrate and repair assemblies and subassemblies at the Repair Center
  • Proactively initiate corrective and preventive actions if required
  • Document in a professional manner all the activities performed in the Repair Center including details of the repair, parts consumed, testing performed and time to improve efficiency 
  • Support Complaints and R&D investigations

Must Haves
  • Requires complete and broad knowledge of operational systems, techniques and practices typically gained through extensive experience
  • Technician or Practical Engineer in Electronics
  • Min of 4 years experience repairing interdisciplinary assemblies (mechanical and electronical)
  • Reading, writing and speaking  Hebrew & English at a reasonable level is mandatory
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with ERP software
  • Experience in MS Excel
  • Medical device or other regulated industry experience is an advantage
  • Understanding of robotics  technology and precision mechanics is an advantage

•      Knowledge in step motors, encoders, instruments and control is an advantage
